Ronald "Todd" - Age 48 - El Guique Cruz

Ronald “Todd” Cruz – Age 48 a resident of El Guique, NM went to meet his maker on Sunday, December 2, 2012 peacefully with his family at his side. He was preceded in death by his mother, Santana Cruz; brothers: Vincent “Bobo” Cruz and Jeff Montoya; nephews: Chris Cruz Martinez and Joe Howard Martinez, Jr.; parents-in-law: Cicilio and Josina Herrera; and Godparents: Sostenes and Donelia Mascareñas. He is survived by the love of his life, Cecilia Herrera of El Guique; son, Curtis Cruz and companion Cheyenne Martinez of Chamita; raised like a son, Benjamin Edmonds; brother, Leonard Baros and companion Bonnie of Española; sisters: Maria Mascareñas and husband Harold of El Guique, Berna Herrera and husband Manuel of Española, Juanita Martinez and companion Bert Jacquez of Chamita, Sharon Muñoz and husband Cesario of Chamita, Beverly Gonzales and husband Carlos of Castleford, Idaho, Debbie Gallegos of El Guique, Pamela Cruz and companion Gene of Rio Chama, Lori Cruz of Santa Fe and Valerie Quezada of Santa Fe; Goddaughter, Rachel Garcia of Rio Chama; Godsons: Ronnie and Isaac Cruz of Chamita; sister-in-laws: Linda and husband Leroy Garcia and Viola Herrera; brother-in-law, Lino and wife Barbara Herrera; grandmothers: Adela Romero of Fairview and Neoma Salazar of Chamita; and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo. Burial will follow at the San Pedro Cemetery in Chamita with the following serving as pallbearers: Joseph Martinez, Julian Martinez, Jarrett Cruz, Ronnie Cruz, Jonathan Cruz and Jamie Trujillo. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: all of his nieces and nephews.
