Rodolfo - Age 73 - Rio Lucio Rodriguez

RODOLFO RODRIGUEZ, 73, a resident of Rio Lucio, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010 surrounded by his family after a lengthily illness. He was an incredibly caring and humble man who always brought smiles to those around him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sebedeo and Amelia Rodriguez; his in-laws, Ismael and Refugio Pacheco; his son Rudolfo Rodriguez Jr., his grand-daughter, Danelle Garcia; brothers, Rogelio and Nick Rodriguez, and sister-in-law, Bonnie Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gladys Rodriguez; his sons, Leroy Nicko Rodriguez and partner Rosemary (Rio Lucio), Adrian Rodriguez (Rio Lucio) and Norman Rodriguez and wife Elberta (Penasco); daughters, Evelyn Rodriguez and partner Jose (Lower Ojito) Marylou Garcia (Española) and Ramoncita Gurule and husband David (Rio Lucio) and Rosella Rodriguez a granddaughter that he raised (Rio Lucio); special people that helped with his care, Elberta Rodriguez, David Gurule and James Pacheco; brothers, Jose Rodriguez and partner Idene and Ferdinando Rodriguez; sisters, Bernie Martinez and husband Robert, Beatrice Fresquez and husband Sam, Sylvia Soliz and husband Manuel, Lorraine Martinez, Pauline Rodriguez, and Jeanette Vigil and husband Julian; a special aunt and uncle Vivianita and Juan; special uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Teodoro Sandoval; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; his caretaker Lorraine Tafoya; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A second rosary will be recited on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at San Antonio Catholic Church in Peñasco. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. also at San Antonio Catholic Church in Peñasco. Burial to follow at the Rio Lucio Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, David J. Gurule, Jacob Gurule, Brandon Gurule, Julian Rodriguez, Darren Rodriguez, Rocky Lopez, Andrew Rodriguez, T.J.
