Robert (Bob) Allard – Age 71, was born in Estancia, NM on March 15, 1939 and passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at his home in Chama, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents: Thurman and Martha Allard; a son, Steven; 2 brothers: George and Tom Allard; and his parents-in-law: Mike and Emma Rascon. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Luggie Allard; son, James of Chama, NM; daughter, Yvonne Bender and husband Ken of Lancaster Wisconsin; sisters: Sadie Vivian of California and Frances Patterson of Cedar City, UT; grandsons: Bobby Allard and Zachary Bender; granddaughters: Michelle and Stephanie Bender and Emily Allard; 4 great grandchildren; and his niece and caregiver, Stephanie Martinez of Aztec, NM; he is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a lot of friends too many to mention by name. Bob Moved to Chama in 1964 and was employed by Sturges Supermarket for 2 years, then he worked for Holsum Bakers and retired after 28 years. He was presently employed by New Mexico State Parks at Heron State Park. Memorial service for Robert (Bob) Allard will take place on a later date.
