Roberta M. "Bobbie" - age 70 - Espa Rivera

Roberta M. “Bobbie” Rivera, 70, a resident of Española went home peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents; Tomas and Trinidad Lucero, brother, Tommy Lucero; grandmother, Teresita Lucero, and a daugther, Annette Rivera. Bobbie loved going to the casino, and loved being around family and friends. She always loved going with her husband and grand-daughter to the casino. She loved trading her daughter Trinnie ice for tortillas. Bobbie is survived by her husband; Paul Rivera Sr., daughter, Trinnie Velasquez and husband Robert of Espanola, son, Paul Rivera Jr. and wife Judy Rivera, of Ojo Caliente, two grandchildren Kayla Velasquez, and Stephen Rivera, sisters; Laura Torrez and husband Robert of Albuquerque, and Marie Montoya, and husband Gilbert of Arroyo Seco, brothers, Fabian Lucero and wife Jane of Las Vegas Nevada, Raymond Lucero and wife Judy of Santa Fe, sisters-in-law, Rey Lucero of Pueblo Co., Bertha Trujillo and husband Tony of Espanola, Mary Martinez, and husband Ross of Cuarteles, and many nieces, nephews, friends, and special uncles and aunts. Cremation is being planned. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito. Burial to follow at the El Rito Community Cemetery. The family of Roberta has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
