Robert Tafoya Jr.

Robert Tafoya Jr., 47, a resident of La Villita, NM,  passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024.

Robert Jr. leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience. 

He was preceded in death by his brother Jonathan Tafoya, maternal and paternal grandparents Benito and Julia Lucero, Benito and Terecina Tafoya, aunts and Uncles Leroy and Vangie Tafoya, Ida Quintana, Mary Lou Tafoya, Fred and Ignacia Martinez, Danny and Frances Bustos, Frank Lucero, Ernesto Cordova, Alfonzo Lopez, and Thomas Bustos, cousins Felix Bustos, Joe and Mary Frances Griego, Ricky Lucero, Patrick Lopez, along with numerous beloved family members who now welcome him into eternal rest.

He is survived by his devoted parents Robert and Cathy Tafoya, brother Eddie (Carla) Tafoya, sisters Maria and Prescilla Tafoya, Nephews Dominque Sugar and family, DeJahn Tafoya, Jonathan Tafoya, and Nevan Myles, Nieces DeJa Tafoya, AnnaMarie, Alyssa, Samantha, and Seana Salazar, Francisca Aragon and Aurora, Aunts and Uncles Willie (Priscilla) Lucero, Luis Quintana, Helen Lucero, Rose Cordova, and Rita (Barton) Thom. Cousins Mavilis (Rosita) Tafoya, Cynthia and Julianita Gallegos, Jane (Ben) Valdes, Ben (Gloria) Cordova. Along with too many relatives and friends to name but were very special to him, but loved and greatly appreciated. 

 A Celebration of Robert Jr.'s Life will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at El Buen Pastor Church in Espanola NM, at 10:00 am (viewing at 9:00 am).  Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, after the service, at the New Life Church Assembly Cemetery in Hernandez, NM.
