Robert Petrie

Robert C. Petrie was born on February 11th, 1928 in Pittsburgh PA to William and Hannah Petrie. He served in the Air Force in Korea from 1950 to 1954 and went on to work at General Electric, later moving to Los Alamos NM to work at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. In 1974 he married Kathleen Thorwaldsen (1920 to 2009) and leaves behind a son, Steve and a Daughter, Kathy. Robert attended the Presbyterian Church of America in White Rock.  He died peacefully in his home in White Rock on January 17th, 2018. A private burial will be held. The family of Robert C. Petrie has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
