Robert Pacheco

ROBERT A. PACHECO, 61, a resident of Santa Monica California went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father Joe A. Pacheco; his baby sister, Ida Eileen Pacheco; paternal grandparents, Faustin and Cirila Pacheco; uncle, Eloy Montoya, maternal grandparents, Evaristo and Martina Gurule; great-grandmothers, Juanita Martinez and Rufinita Jarmaillo; very close uncle Abel Gurule, uncle and padrino of marriage David Graham, padrino of Baptism Tony Lopez; aunts, Dolores and Ophilia Gurule, father-in-law, Hugh Hellenberg. Robert was a member of LA Goal for many years and also participated in the Special Olympics. He loved Northern New Mexico music, playing the drums and baseball. Robert always considered New Mexico as his home, he was a very special, loving, caring person and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Robert is survived by his wife of 26 years Helen Pacheco; mother Mary Corine Gurule-Pacheco; madrina of baptism; aunt, and best friend, Mary Socorro Graham, brother, Genaro Rael, uncles, Presiliano Gurule and family, Gilbert Gurule and family, Leo and Fidelia Gurule and family; aunts, Mary Jane Rael and Juan Rael and family Bernadette and Gabriel Salazar and family, Abels family, Stephen Gurule, Pam and Ken Espinoza and family; Goddaughter, Andrea Rael, uncle Luciano and  Ercilia Montoya; mother-in-law, Kiyoko Hellenberg, brother-in-law, Paul and Gail Hellenberg and family and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to say a special thank you to Beacon Funeral Home in Santa Monica California for their assistance through this difficult time. Public visitation will begin on Monday, October 09, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada, with a burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, with the following serving as pallbearers, Gilbert Gurule, Clarence Atencio, Mary S. Graham, Bernadette and Gabriel Salazar, Tim Lopez, Danny Rael and Leonard Martinez Sr., honorary pallbearers, Jason Gurule, Andrea Rael and Genaro Rael. The family of Robert A.
