ROBERT CASTILLO, 48, a resident of La Mesilla, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017. He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Vigil; sister, Carla Ortiz Dean, Roxanne Archuleta; and brother, Andrew Vigil. Robert is survived by his brothers, Donnie Ortiz (Brenda) of Arroyo Seco, Timmy Ortiz of La Villita, sister, Patricia Archuleta (Tom Romero) of Chimayo; nieces, Jessica Ortiz, Crystal Archuleta and Nicollette Ortiz, nephews, Nico Ortiz, Timothy Ortiz Jr., Angelo Ortiz, Ricky Ortiz, Jason Archuleta, Ivan Archuleta and Nickolas Ortiz; special cousins, Annette and Joe Quintana; aunts and uncles, Molly and Lino Martinez, Tina and Rudy Maestas (God Parents), Maria Owens Archuleta, Teresa and Larry Jennings, Dolores and Ruth Archuleta. A rosary will be recited on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh, with a memorial mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held at the Ojo Caliente Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations are being accepted to help with funeral cost.
