Ricky Archuleta
Ricky was called home to be with the Lord, on January 10, 2024, in the 38th year of his life.
He suffered a brief but fatal case of pneumonia.
Rick was born June 9, 1985, he was born in Northern New Mexico to Stephanie Gonzales and Anthony Archuleta, and raised in Santa Fe, NM. He was the oldest sibling to Brother Jerome and Sister Savannah.
He was a devoted father, to his only son Cruz Archuleta.
Though in your passing, here on earth. We could not help you stay with us longer. We know the Lord, held out his arms to welcome you and you heard the sound of angels calling you home.
We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8.
Although our hearts are broken and we may never truly get over the loss of not having you here with us thinking of your courage and strength and knowing you are now at peace, guides us through.
Ricky will be missed and loved forever.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me. Psalm 23:4
Ricky is preceded in death by his father Antonio Archuleta, Sharon and Ryan, grandfather Aureliano Gonzales, aunt Kimberly Chacon (Gonzales), great grandparents Frank & Virginia Gonzales, great-grandparents Juan Antonio & Camilla Ocana.
Ricky is survived by His Son Cruz Archuleta, mother Stephanie Gonzales, brother Jerome & niece Payson Gonzales, sister Savannah and nephew Caiden, grandparents Dolores and Chris Sanchez, aunt Loretta and Uncle Tom & family, aunt Valerie & family, uncle Marcos and Melissa Gonzales & family, cousins Zachary and Miranda Chacon & family, Gerri Gonzales and daughter Melanie, grandparents Ted & Frances Archuleta, uncle Levi & family, aunt Lisa & family, aunt Linda and son Eric, Bradley Martinez & family and many loved ones and friends.
Since a young age he showed a spirit of invincibility. He was fiercely protective of his family and loved ones. He loved to share jokes and had a sharp sense of humor that could make anyone’s day brighter.
He took pride in being a brother and friend to his two younger siblings Jerome and Savannah. Our memories will last forever in our hearts, though we are now apart. We wish you didn’t go, dear brother, you deserve eternal rest, you were the best brother anyone could ever have. He lived his life as the guy who makes the decisions, not the guy who has decisions made for him. His impressive bravado won him many female admirers.
He who kneels before God can stand before anyone.
