Rick J. - age 49 - Nambe Romero

\r\nRick J. Romero, 49, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. His presence well be sorely missed by all. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Clara Leon, maternal grandfather, Adrian Herrera; niece Vanessa (Vinny) Herrera; uncles, David (Leonard) and Ed (Eno) Leon. Rick was a veteran of the U.S. Army and National Guard, where he was honorably discharged. He was a landscaper by trade and was known for his meticulous work. He will be remembered for his big heart and generous ways. Rick is survived by his parents, Frank and Lorenza Romero; sisters, Quella Musgrave, and her children Marquel and Loren, Donna (Carl) Griego, and their children, Melissa and husband Angelo, Carl Jr. and wife Maria; brother, Ron Romero, and his children Ronnie Jr., Carlie, and Grace, grandmother, Natividad Drisdale, as well as numerous other loving relatives and friends. The family of Rick J. Romero would like to thank the Staff at Española Presbyterian Hospital for the wonderful care and other friends and relatives for their prayers and support. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at San Francis de Assisi Catholic Church in Nambe. The family of Rick J. Romero has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n
