Richard "Ritchie" Age - 43 - Santa Sweeney

RICHARD “RITCHIE” SWEENEY, 43, a resident of Santa Fe, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 8, 2013. He was preceded in death by brothers, Donnie and Raymond Rodriguez and nephew, Monty Sweeney. Mr. Sweeney is survived by his mother, Clara Rodriguez; brother, Tommy Griego; sisters, Rebecca Rodriguez, Carmela Rodriguez, Yolanda Montoya (Randy) and Donna Sweeney; step-children, Cecilia, Frankie, and Christopher; special God-daughter, Felicia Sweeney and many nieces, nephews, along with numerous extend family and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Santa Fe with a rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Bascilica in Santa Fe. Burial to follow at the Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe with the following serving as pallbearers, Tommy Griego, Del Sweeney, Jerome Jaramillo, Randy Montoya, Paul Lovato and Jose Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be; Felicia Sweeney, Marissa Sweeney, Yvette Rodriguez and Ambriel Jaramillo. The family would like to thank many friends and family for your support and generosity. The family of Richard “Ritchie” Sweeney has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
