\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n Richard Dominic Rael, age 29, a resident of La Mesilla, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, April 2, 2010. He was preceded in death by his biological father, David A. Rael; paternal grandfather, Joe Rael; maternal grandfather, Paul N. Lujan; grandmother, Florinda Romero; great-grandmother, Antonia Martinez; uncle, Leonard Rael; and aunt Peggy Silva. Dominic was an apprentice for Sanbros Corp and worked for the family business RVC, Inc. for most of his life. He was a firm believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. He had a great love for his family and friends, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was blessed with the gift of an extraordinary loving heart and will be dearly missed. Dominic is survived by his parents, David and Patricia Romero of La Mesilla; brother, David Rael and fiancée Shawnah Rivera of Taos; 2 sisters, Vanessa Romero of Albuquerque and Savannah Romero and fiancée David Sanchez of La Mesilla; nieces, Autumn and Sarah Rael and Vannah Romero; nephew, Calob Cobos; paternal grandmother, Mary Rael; maternal grandmother, Monica Lujan of Santa Fe; God-parents, Paul and Margie May of Denver, CO. Aunts and uncles, Pamela Vigil and husband Arcy of Pecos, Paula Archuleta and husband Juan of Santa Fe, Mark Lujan and wife Rose of Pecos, Gina Montoya of Santa Fe, Joe Allen Romero and wife Dulce of Truchas, Leonard Romero and wife Margaret of Fairview, Geraldine Estrada of Truchas, Iris Seminario of Truchas, Jeanette Martinez of Fairview, Michael Martinez of Truchas, Danny and Brenda Romero of Las Vegas, Nevada, and 2 close cousins whom were like sisters, April Salazar and Ashley Martinez, numerous other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 6:00p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a devotional service to follow at 7:00p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Truth Ministries Calvary chapel in Arroyo Seco at 10:00a.m. with burial to follow at the Santa Fe Memorial Gardens located off of Rodeo Road with the following serving as pallbearers, David Sanchez, David Martinez, Timothy Martinez, David Salazar, Mark Lujan, Michael Martinez and Antonio Vigil. Honorary pallbearers named are, Lorenzo Silva, Santiago Silva and Adrian Vigil.
