RICHARD CLYDE PACHECO, 56, a resident of Chamisal, passed away on Monday, October 02, 2017. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jose Victor and Eloisa Cordova; paternal grandparents, Jose Fermin and Virginia Pacheco; mother, Lenora Pacheco; brother, Bryan Pacheco; uncles, Felix, Joe, and Macario Cordova; aunts, Rebecca Fugini, Laura Abeyta, Ernestina Cordova; cousins, Joey, Jeffery, Bobby, and Victor Cordova. Richard loved model cars, carving, art work, music and classic cars. He loved the outdoors and taking care of wild life. His passion was the Army and was very respectable and compassionate about others. He loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Richard is survived by his fiancé, Mary Ruth Martinez Arellano; daughter, Claudia Urioste (Jacob Montoya) and her brother Martin; father, Jose Andrew Pacheco; brothers, Raymond and Joseph Pacheco; aunts, Vicky Cordova, Olivama Pacheco and children, Dina Duran (Robert), Rosana Abeyta (Juan), Adonila Casados, Maclovia Fresquez (Anselmo), Reggie Pacheco, Virginia Dominguez (Roger) and Helen Johnston; uncles, Paul Abeyta, Ross Cordova (Lillian), Frank Pacheco, Aurellio Pacheco, Adonio Pacheco, and Adolfo Lopez (Sarita); cousins, John Abeyta Jr. (Yvette), Michelle Archuleta, Janice Duran, Eunice and husband, Denny Abeyta (Veronica), Sandra Abeyta (Robert), Billy Cordova and his sisters, Valerie Vissarraga (Herbert), Maxine Abeyta, Agnes Lucero (George), many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church de Padua in Peñasco. Burial will be held at the Chamisal Catholic Cemetery.
