Rhea was 40 years young, of Santa Clara Pueblo and Dulce, NM. She departed this life on Thursday, April 21, 2016. She is preceded in death by her son Isaac Ray Naranjo, her brother Paul (Jap) Naranjo, her niece Dolores Naranjo, her uncle Mike and aunt Janice Naranjo; Aunts Esquipula, Danaria, and Andrieta, all of Santa Clara Pueblo.
Rhea is survived by her father and mother, Raymond and Lila Naranjo; Godparents Michael and Sandy Salazar and Rose Naranjo; her biological family of Dulce, NM; her brothers and sisters of Santa Clara Pueblo, MarIan Rose Naranjo, Allen and Kay Naranjo, Roger and Nona Naranjo, Mil Naranjo, Daniel and Nadine Naranjo, Gilbert Naranjo, James and Isabell Naranjo, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Public visitation will begin on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Santa Clara Catholic Church with a burial to follow at the Santa Clara Pueblo Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers are all her nephews: Raymond, Ernest, Patrick, Gregory, Brandon, Lyle, Luciano, Dwight, Quinten, James, Matthew, Jacob, and James. The Naranjo Family would like to express sincere thanks and appreciation to all who have helped and visited, in our time of need.
