Reymundo J. Lopez, 90, passed away on October 19, 2023, in the loving care of his children. He was born in Pecos, NM. He married the love of his life Angela in Nambe, NM, and made their family home in Pojoaque, NM.
Ray was preceded in death by his wife Angela of 44 years, his parents Reymundo G. and Eugenia Lopez, and his brother Eugene Lopez.
Ray is survived by his loving siblings Santiago Lopez (Rosella) and Lucille Lopez, children Loretta Sachs (Danny), Susan Tym (Ron), Raymond Lopez (Jennifer), Thomas Lopez (Inez), and Sylvia Pulliam (Edgar), grandchildren Bailey Sachs (Sam), Abraham Sachs, Miguel Tym, Orlando Lopez, Angela Anderson (Evan), Bradley, Elias (Autumn), and Ian Pulliam, great grandchildren Belen Rae, Ephraim, Colton, Kamira, Griffin, and many special family members and friends.
Ray graduated from St. Michael's High School as Salutatorian. He attended St. Michael's College one year and graduated from New Mexico Agricultural and Mechanical College (now NMSU). He received a Masters in Business Administration from Anderson School of Management. Ray served two years in the US Army at Fort Bliss, TX and Fort Clayton, Panama Canal Zone. Ray worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory as an Electrical Engineer where he met his wife Angela and retired after 32 years.
He enjoyed traveling the world with Angela and his children, visits with family and friends, and experiencing the joy that his grandchildren and great grandchildren brought him. Ray's generosity, humor, kindness, good advice, and playful twinkle in his eyes will surely be missed.

Ray's life will be celebrated on February 8, 2024, with a Rosary at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Pojoaque, NM and Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Reception will be at 11:30 a.m. at the Cities of Gold Hotel. Interment will follow the reception at the Pojoaque Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to KNME, which he dearly enjoyed.
