Reyes Rae Manzanares

Reyes (Rae) Manzanares, 75 , was welcomed into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on May 15, 2019. Reyes was preceded in death by her parents Jose Y. and Sinforoza Rivera; father and mother in law Alejandro and Adolfa Manzanares of Canjilon; sisters, Bertha Rivera and Sinfor Gomez; brothers, Jose Sabino, Perfecto, Isidoro, Leo, and Juan Rivera. Reyes loved the art of needle work, crocheting, and quilting, but most importantly she loved her family. Reyes is survived by her husband of 54 years, Salomon Adelaido Manzanares; daughters, Josie Irwin of San Juan, Yvette Saiz (Richard) of La Mesilla, and Valeria Manzanares of Espanola; grandchildren, Molly Irwin of San Juan and Roberta Saiz of La Mesilla; siblings, Gabina Madrid of Albuquerque who raised her like a mother and Sergio Rivera (Dorothy) of Santa Fe;  sister in laws, Flora Rivera of Eagle Colorado, Anita Rivera of Salida Colorado, and Tina Rivera of Canjilon; brother in law Ramon Gomez of Albuquerque; nieces who were raised as a sister Vangie Marquez (Max) of El Rito, and Genevive Montano of Albuquerque. Along with many other relatives and loving friends. Rosary will be recited on Thursday May 23, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Espanola with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
