Remigio Archuleta

REMIGIO ARCHULETA, 83, a resident of Abiquiu, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Archuleta; parents, Maximinio and Rosa Archuleta; daughter, Christina Chavez; and all his siblings. Remigio worked for Campbell Soup Company for 33 years. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and family gatherings. He served on the board of Trusties of the Merced del Pueblo in Abiquiu. He enjoyed playing basketball and bowling when he was younger. Remigio was a father figure to many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mr. Archuleta is survived by his children, Max Archuleta, Ostalio Orlando Archuleta, Victoria Archuleta, Cynthia Archuleta, Ursula Temple, Victor Archuleta and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary to be recited on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Abiquiu Cemetery.
