Rebecca Salazar

Rebecca “Becky” Salazar, of Ojo Caliente was called home to the Lord unexpectedly on February 25, 2024. Becky was the life of the party everywhere she went and made everyone feel loved, no matter what the situation. Becky was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend. 

She was preceded in death by an older sister, Rebecca Salazar, daughter, Michelle “Mitchie” Salazar, her mother Alice Salazar, and her father Isidro “Sonny” Salazar, niece Mariah Lopez. 

Becky is survived by her sons, Lucas Culin (Fran) and Max Trujillo (Shiann) grandchildren, Destiny Culin and Maxis Trujillo, sisters, Bernadette Salazar, Frances Lopez (Ralph) and Betty Martinez (Tim) as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and family. 

She will be missed dearly and will forever be in our hearts. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church located at 14 Los Baños Drive, Ojo Caliente, NM, 87549. A rosary will be held at 10:00 AM followed by the mass at 11:00 AM. 

The family of Rebecca “Becky” has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home and Crematory.
