Raymond D. age - 52 - La Villita Martinez

Raymond D. Martinez, 52, a resident of La Villita, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Feliberto and Bernie Martinez, maternal grandparents, Alejandro and Josephina Gallegos; brothers, Richard, Felilato Jr. and John Martinez, sisters, Maryirie Young and patsy Martinez; nephew, Ricky Martinez Jr.; and grandson, John Paul Martinez Jr. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Raymond is survived by his son, John Paul and companion Sonya; wife, Diane Martinez; stepsons, Rudy and Donald Salazar; His grandchildren who loved him dearly, Anthony, Juanito, and Annlyah; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cora Martinez, Tony D. and Carole Martinez, Leonard and Mary Lou Martinez, and Joseph and Marie Martinez; brother-in-laws, Herman Young. Pete Martinez was a very special friend that took care of him, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. also at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Burial to follow at the La Villita Cemetery. The family of Raymond Martinez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
