Raymond Savino Martinez

Raymond Savino Martinez, 59, went home with our Lord on July 13, 2023.

He was born April 11, 1964, to Clarence and Irene Martinez. He was well known as a hair artist. He traveled throughout the united Stated doing hair shows. He lived in Texas for many years. He got the advantage of knowing and meeting very famous people throughout his travels. Ray loved his family with all his heart and soul. His biggest hero was his baby brother Daniel. 

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Clarence Sr, sisters Mildred & Geraldine. Brothers, Jose Eugenio, & Daniel. Brother-in-law, Pablo Valdez Jr., & nephew, Dominic Herrera

He is survived by, sisters, Rosie, Tammi (Patrick); Brothers, Clarence, Jr. (Lou Ann); Richard (Marlene), and brother-in-law Walter.

Nieces and nephews; Michael (Melissa), Nadine, Matias (Markisha); Jonathan, David (Tara), Shawn, Shanaya (Darrom), Miranda, Gabriel, David (Erika), Jennifer(Cory), Johnny, Latisha(Tom), Justin.

Great-nieces and nephews:  Miquella, Jalina, Ethan, Justin, Lugarda, Delylah, Adonis, Alianna, Zuri, Kayleena and Jordyn, & Darrom.

A Public Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 10:30 am at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM.  Rosary will be on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 9:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, NM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in El Llano, NM.
