Raymond - Petaca Martinez

Raymond W. Martinez, born on November 3, 1956, lost his battle with cancer on Friday, November 29, 2013. He died peacefully in his home in Petaca. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Grace Martinez; brother, Tommy. Mr. Martinez is survived by his sisters, Ercilia Hernandez and companion Eliud, Olivia Jackson, Dora Martinez, Pauline and husband Randy Vigil, brothers, Michael, Jasper, Terry and wife Teresa, two very special and dear friends Michelle Sisneros and Jeff Patton, uncles, Sebedo and Aurelio Benavidez, nieces and nephews. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at La Divina Pastora Catholic Church in Petaca. Burial to follow at La Petaca Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Benny, Toby, Juan Martinez, Julian Lovato, Ryan Sullivan, and Martin Torrez. Honorary pallbearers named are, Joe Gutierrez, Leslie Rael, Glen Lovato, Alan Martinez, Andres Garcia, Eric Martinez, Reshawn Monica and Randy Vigil. The family of Raymond Martinez has entrusted their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
