Raul “Travieso” Luna, 27, a resident of Española passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012. He was preceded in death by his padrino, Ross Sandoval; great-grandmother, Sara Martinez; great-grandfather, Antonio Trujillo; great-grandparents, Josefa and Juan Ramon Sandoval; cousins: Moriama Luna, David Sandoval, Cindy Trujillo; any other relatives. Raul is survived by his children: Briselda and Breshea del La Rosa, Cruz Angel and Emilio Luna of Española; mother, Theresa Sandoval-Rivera of Española; step-father, Paul Rivera of Española; father, Raul Luna of Juarez; grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Eloy Sandoval, Mr. & Mrs. Julian Luna of Colorado; sisters: Stephanie and Christina Luna, all of Colorado, Jessica Luna of Juarez; brother, Raul; (Papo) Luna of Juarez; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date at Olinger Cemetery in Wheatridge, Colorado. The Family of Raul “Travieso” Luna has entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
