Ramoncita Age - 87 - Chama Martinez

RAMONCITA MARTINEZ, 87, a resident of Chama, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 27, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juanito Martinez; daughters, Cordy and Diana Martinez; sister, Angie Bateman; brothers, Domingo Gallegos and Gonzalo Madrid and mother Cleofas Martinez. She loved making quilts and putting jig-saw puzzles together. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother to all and helped raise her great-nieces and nephews. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her daughter, Cindy Samora and husband Felipe; raised as a son, B.J. Samora and wife Suzette; raised as daughters, Bridgette Flores and husband Raul and Erlinda and Conchita Samora; grandchildren, Johnny, Jonah and Jesus Samora, Lance Peper and Tanaeah Samora all of Chama; special sister-in-law, Dorothy Gallegos; special nieces, Lupe Gutierrez and husband Horace, Patsy Gallegos, Gloria Vigil and Cleo Valdez; very special friend, Piedad Maria Sanchez and numerous other relatives and friends. Services are pending at this time. Serving as pallbearers will be, Anthony Gallegos, Lance Peper, Johnny Samora, Jonah Samora, Billy Rivas and Archie Vigil.
