Ralph Borrego

Ralph L Borrego, 59, a resident of Sombrillo and formally of El Guique, passed away on December 10th 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents; Arturo and Arabella Borrego, paternal grandparents; Rafael and Deluvina Borrego, maternal grandparents; Apolonio and Arminda Gallegos and brother; Floyd Borrego. Ralph was known for having a big heart and was always willing to lend a hand for anyone in need.  He had a great artistic talent and was known for his beautiful hand drawings. In his late teenage years, he enlisted in the U.S. Marines and served his country. He loved the outdoors and especially doing some gardening.  Ralph is survived by his siblings; Rosabelle DeNoi, Mary Ann Martinez, Pauline Borrego, Michelle Borrego, Michael (Tina), Gilbert, Andrew, Raymond, Jacob, and Johnny Borrego, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh with a memorial Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family of Ralph L. Borrego has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
