Porfie Age-89 Cuarteles Fresquez

\r\nPorfie M. Fresquez, 89, of Cuarteles, was called home by the Lord on Saturday, October 16th. She was reunited with her beloved husband of 66 years Conce G. Fresquez Sr. and her precious son David, parents, brothers and many other loved ones that went before her. Her legacy will forever go on by the devotion she had for God, her family and her church. Her favorite bible verse was John 14:2 – In my Father’s house are many Mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. She is survived by her children: Jake and Gloria Fresques, Robert and Lucy Fresques, Conce Jr. and Shirlee Fresquez, Theresa and Wray Ortiz, Benny and Arlene Fresquez, Cyndee Fresquez and Julie Fresquez, also Leoma Esquibel and Debra Borrego whom she considered daughters. Grandchildren: Mark, Sandra, Jacob, Angela, Jason, Brian, Timothy, Margarita, Celina, Rebecca, Conce III, Matthew, Daniel, Wray Jr., Benito, Lucas, Elias, and 28 great-grandchildren; sisters: Adela Quintana, and Luisa Esquibel; brothers: Caraciolo and Alice Maestas, Joe and Martha Maestas; sisters-in-law: Nina Maestas, Lila Maestas and Zulema Harvey. A Devotional will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at El Buen Pastor in Ranchitos. Funeral will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at El Buen Pastor in Ranchitos with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. The family of Porfie Fresquez have entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. 505-747-7477\r\n \r\n \r\n
