PHILLIP MARTINEZ, 40, a resident of Peñasco, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 28, 2010. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Vivianita Roybal; uncles, Joe and William Roybal and Paul Medina; cousins, Fred Sr. and Fred Jr., James Merrill, Bobby Medina and Tommy Pacheco. Mr. Martinez is survived by his daughter, Brianna Martinez; partner, Carmen; mother, Eliza Martinez; sister, Melissa Romero and husband Rick; nephew and God-son, Chad Romero; niece, Chantel Romero and nephew, Cody Romero all of Peñasco and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Antonio de Padua Church in Peñasco. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. also at San Antonio de Padua Church in Peñasco.
