PETER M. AGUINO, 54, a lifelong and well known resident of Ohkay Owingeh, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 31, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Reyecita Aguino and brothers, Christopher and Paul Aguino. Peter worked as a security guard at the Ohkay Owingeh Casino for 20 years. He loved to draw, joke around, baseball, fishing, horseshoes, the casino and was an avid Cowboy fan. He participated in traditional Native American Dances. He was an awesome grandpa and was very helpful. Mr. Aguino is survived by his son, Peter T. Aguino and companion Feliciana Romero; grandchildren, Jubilee and Amani Aguino all of Albuquerque; mother of his son, Trinnie Abeyta of Ohkay Owingeh; companion, Renee Medina of Española; step-daughters, Reylynn Trujillo and husband Russell of Española and Reyna Medina of Las Cruces; sisters, JoAnn Calabaza and husband David of Santo Domingo, Bertha Medina and husband Allan, Theresa Aguino and companion Jim Garcia all of Ohkay Owingeh, Cathie Aguino and companion Felix Herrera of Fairview; brother, Michael Montoya; step-grandchildren, Ryan, Rocky and Rheyssa Trujillo; special nieces, Jade Aguino, Jasmine Abeyta, Monica Herrera and Melissa Torres and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the family residence in Ohkay Owingeh. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Burial to follow at the Ohkay Owingeh Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Joseph Aguino, Sam Medina, James Suina, JR Abeyta, Angelo Abeyta, Angelo Decora, Frisco Abeyta, Jr., Jim Garcia and Felix Herrera, Allen Medina, Anthony Moya, Lindbert Martinez, Russell Trujillo and Lance Calabaza. Honorary pallbearers will be, Nathan Abeyta, Kaylina Abeyta, Donald Aguino, David Calabaza and Ryan and Rocky Trujillo. The family of Peter M.
