Perfilia Age -78 Vallecitos Gallegos

Perfilia Gallegos,78, a resident of Vallecitos, New Mexico passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to her parents, Jose Ignacio and Carmelita Gurule. Perfilia married her loving husband Juan Gallegos on August 26, 1948.\r\nPerfilia raised her 11 children, had 29 granchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Perfilia loved making tortillas and picking piñon, she enjoyed going to Casino’s, Bingo’s and going to dances with the senior’s. She enjoyed the outdoors, going camping and being in the mountains. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved chopping wood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Gallegos; parents, Jose Ignacio and Carmelita Gurule; sisters: Juanita Gomez, Viola Gurule; in-laws, Leandro and Bersabe Gallegos; and many other relatives. She is survived by her family: Amelia Giron and husband Isaac of La Madera, Marcella Martinez and husband Orlando of Vallecitos, Andres Gallegos and wife Deanna of Española, Balvina Martinez and husband Ben of Santa Fe, Delfinia Gallegos of Tierra Azul, Tina Griego and husband Henry of La Madera, Valentin Gallegos and wife Joella of Taos, Berlinda Dominguez of Albuquerque, Joe Gallegos and wife Denise of Vallecitos, Brenda Gallegos and husband Max of La Madera, Johnny Gallegos and wife Rosie of El Rito; special grandchildren whom she raised and loved: Martin Gallegos, Justin Gallegos (great-grandson) and Mark Martinez. A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Oratorio of la Morada de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe in La Madera. A second rosary will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. also in the Oratorio. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Nuestra Senora de Dolores Catholic Church in Vallecitos with internment to follow at the Vallecitos Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Andy Giron, Mark Martinez, Bryan Martinez, Delbert Herrera, Damian Herrera, Brendon Herrera, Valentin Gallegos, Miguel Gallegos and Martin Gallegos; honorary pallbearers: Pauline Martinez, Kristina Martinez, Andrea Gallegos, Amanda Griego, Isabel Dominguez, Candice Herrera, Stephanie Gallegos and Angelina Gallegos.
