Paul "Siete Vidas" Romero

PAUL “SIETE VIDAS” ROMERO , 60, a resident of Cordova, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019.  Paul was preceded in death by his father, Policarpio Romero; brothers, Adrian and Tony Romero. Paul was a man with a caring and loving heart. He always was willing to lend a helping hand. He loved to spend time with his buddies in the plaza in Cordova. Paul loved to be in the outdoors and loved watching sports such as boxing and UFC. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. Paul is survived by his children, Fernando Romero ( Marcy), Vanessa Barela (Thomas); grandchildren, Julia, Faith, Destiny, Alana, and Havanah; mother, Elviria Romero; siblings, Norberto Romero (Betty), Ida Palacio (Martin), and Ruth Hernandez (Paul); nephews and nieces, Joey, Marvin and Billy Romero, Michelle Martinez, Janice Palacio, David and Elena Hernandez, great-nephew and Niece, Kevin and Milagro Romero; special cousins, Danny Romero and Ernest Martinez and numerous relatives, friends whom cared for him dearly. Public visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2019 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be celebrated on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a burial to follow at the Cordova Catholic Cemetery.  Serving the family as pallbearers are Marvin, Joey and Billy Romero, David Hernandez, Jonathan and Jason Vazquez. Honorary pallbearers are Norberto and Danny Romero. The family of Paul Romero has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
