Pauline Gomez

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pauline Gomez. Pauline was born July 24, 1942, in Las Tablas, New Mexico, to Albino and Anita Gomez and passed away on April 10, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Baldino and Oclovis Gomez; nephew Lloyd Alire; cousins Manuel Gomez, Bertha Gasca, Karen Martinez, Herman Sisneros, and Cora Martinez.

Pauline is survived by her sisters, Juanita Alire (David) of Albuquerque, Claudia “Tiny” Archuleta (Elias), of Ojo Caliente; Ricarda “Dixie” Vigil, Helen Gomez of Las Tablas; and sister-in-law Socorro Gomez of Española. Nieces and nephews: Renee Peña (Luis), Richard Alire (Faylene), and Ken Alire (Yvonne); Alvin Bobby, Joseph Junior, Myra (David), Rayna (Ryan), Lela (Angelo), Baldino, Jr, Yolanda; Illona Gonzales (Bert), Bernadette Archuleta (Pam), Jennifer Lucero (Aaron), Anita Shannon, and Eric Archuleta (Becky); Maxine Vigil and Augustine Randy Vigil (Pauline); and close friend, Evila Romero and family of Cordova. Grand nieces and nephews: Louis (Beata), Monica, Antima Peña, and Angela Murillo (Matt); Ricky and Alexis Alire; Valerie (Felicia), Kenneth, and Jeremy Alire (Shelby); Adriana Gonzales-Lopez (Eric), Amanda Bretti (Jeff), Andrea Gonzales (her Rabito), and Alyssa Gonzales; Michael, David Lucero, and Esperanza and Eliciana Martinez; Eric and Miranda Shannon; Chloe and Eli Archuleta; Stephanie King (Randy), and Cristobal Vigil (Valeria) and Carolina; and many other relatives and friends.

A public viewing will take place at 5:00pm followed a Rosary at 6:00pm at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, New Mexico, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. A funeral Mass will take place at San Luis Gonzaga Church in Las Tablas, New Mexcio, at 11:00am on April 23, 2025, followed by a burial at Las Tablas Cemetery.
