Paul G. - Age 47 - Chamita Sanchez

PAUL G. SANCHEZ, 47, a resident of Chamita, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolfo P. and Ruth Sanchez; son, Daniel Sanchez; brother, Orlando Sanchez; nephews, Juan Martinez and James Sanchez. Paul enjoyed working on cars, trucks and motorcycles and river and lake fishing. He also enjoyed watching and cheering for the Denver Broncos. Paul will be greatly missed by his lifetime friends and special friend, Shayne. Mr. Sanchez is survived by his children, Miranda Sanchez and husband Pancho Ochoa of Española, Nadia Sanchez of California and Branden Gomez of Española; brothers and sister, Donald M. Salazar of Chamita, James B. Sanchez and wife Barbara of Española, Eloy D. Sanchez and wife Debbie of Santa Fe and Carmela S. Martinez of Española; grandchildren, Christopher Sanchez, Lucas Veleta and Abigail Ochoa all of Española; God-parents, Ramon and Clorinda Fresquez and numerous other relatives and friends. Cremation is being planned. A rosary will be recited on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Burial will follow at the San Pedro Cemetery in Chamita. The Sanchez family has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
