Paul - Age 42 - El Rito - Jaramillo

PAUL V. JARAMILLO, 42, a resident of El Rito, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2013 following a short illness. He was preceded in death by his baby sister, Rhonda Jaramillo; paternal grandparents; Jose and Viviana Vialpando; maternal grandparents, Porfirio and Melecia Gonzales and father-in-law, Horacio Baldonado. He was born November 27, 1970 in Española. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing baseball and loved the Dallas Cowboys. He especially took pride in watching and cheering for his boys when they played basketball and baseball. Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, snowmobiling and dancing. He enjoyed spending time with his nephew, Bert Montoya, in the mountains and while working at R & E Glass. Mr. Jaramillo is survived by his wife of 20 years, Delilah Baldonado; children, Evan, Isaac and Mia Jaramillo and Devonique Lujan; parents, Ramon Jaramillo and Martha Gonzales; sisters, Beverly Jaramillo and husband Abdon, Jennifer Gallegos and husband Ernesto, Deann Meadows and husband Jake and Andrea Gallegos; mother-in-law, Eva Baldonado; brothers-in-law, Joel Baldonado and wife Mary, Matthew Baldonado and wife Ida, Norbert Baldonado and wife Jeanell and Abencio Baldonado and wife Susie; sisters-in-law, Elva Montoya and husband Rudy and Bernice Archuleta and companion John McCann; God-daughter, Paula Jaramillo and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial to follow at the El Rito Community Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Bert Montoya, Richard Gallegos, Jake Meadows, Lawrence Velarde, Jody Gonzales and Jason Martinez. The family of Paul V. Jaramillo has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
