Patricio Neri Martinez (Pat), age 74, a resident of Chimayo was called to his eternal resting place into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on November 16, 2017. Pat was a retiree from the SW Carpenters Union along with his love for the outdoors, raising cattle, cutting and bailing fields of hay and of course El Jardin (garden) lots of green chili and corn. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Arcelia Martinez, Parents Remigio and Sofia Martinez, Brother Manuel Martinez Sr., Nephew Manuel Martinez Jr. and Granddaughter Erica Rosales. Patricio is survived by his children, Veronica Martinez, Steven Martinez, Cynthia (Michael) Gallagher, Malisa Martinez Rosales, Bridgette Martinez and Shane Medina, Sister Joann (Amos) Atencio, Brother Antonio (Eileen) Martinez. Grandchildren, Leondro (Stephanie) Rivera, Marcos Rivera, Antonio Martinez, Bryan Gallagher, Leandra (Byron) Jovel, Christy Gallagher, Jose Miguel Rosales, Jose Martin Rosales, Jose Manuel Rosales, Brittany Maidment and Brooke Reed. Greatgrandchildren, Aubrey, Trevor and Julia Rivera, Gabriel Gasca, Allesandra Rose Gallagher, Eliana Erica Jovel, Jose Martin Jr. Rosales, Goddaughters, Rebecca Martinez (Becky) and Aylene (Laney) Lucero and many other family, extended family and friends. The Martinez family would like to express their sincere thanks to all family and friends for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home and Crematory. Following the Memorial Service please join us at the Hernandez Community Center for a reception to share stories and memories of Patricio (Pats) life.
