Patricia - Age 36 - Abiquiu Martinez-Rivera

PATRICIA D. MARTINEZ-RIVERA, 36, a resident of San Pedro, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Rivera; father of her children, Donald Gallegos; biological father, Patrick Martinez; step-father, David T. Martinez; brother, Estevan Martinez and maternal grandparents, Pete and Sofie Diaz. Patricia attended McCurdy School and was a gifted poet. She attended the Rock Christian Church and knew The Lord’s Word. Mrs. Rivera is survived by her children, David and Leandra Gallegos of El Guache; parents, Jerry and Barbara Abeyta of Chimayo; brothers, Jeff Diaz and wife Shannon of La Villita, Tomas Martinez and wife Ashley of Shadow Mountain; grandparents, Ramona Sanchez of San Juan, Augustine and Teresita Martinez of San Pedro and Eulalia Abeyta of Chimayo and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at The Rock Church in Española. The Martinez-Rivera family has entrusted their beloved Patricia to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
