Pacomio (Paco) - Age 47 - Hernandez Martinez

Pacomio “Paco” D.P. Martinez, 47, a resident of Hernandez, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 23, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Amadeo Martinez; maternal grandparents, Donaciano and Susanna Suazo; paternal grandparents, Antonio and Sorayda Martinez; uncle, Fabian Lujan and close cousin, Emily Baca. Pacomio was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. You could depend on him if you needed anything, he would help in any way he could. He was a hard working man and could be depended on at any time. Pacomio loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He was a beloved nephew and cousin and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. Pacomio is survived by his mother, Santana Chacon and (Joe) of Gridley, California; sons, Jacob Martinez of Pueblo, Colorado, Jeremy Rodriquez of Alamosa, Colorado, Aaron Martinez of Pueblo, Colorado; brothers, Jimmy Martinez and (Melissa) of Alcalde, Tino Martinez of Española; girlfriend, Nannette Romero of Rio Rancho and numerous other relatives and friends. A public visitation will begin on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez. Burial to follow at the San Jose Catholic Cemetery in Hernandez with the following serving as pallbearers, Chris Martinez, Onesimo Serrano, Gary Martinez, Joe Serrano, Sr., Antonio Peña, and Marcos Madrid. Honorary pallbearers named; Zacarias Martinez Antonia Baca, Sorayda Peña, Lori Pacheco, Eva Madrid, Nancy Baca, and Audrianna Martinez. The family of Pacomio Martinez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
