Pablo J. Age - 78 El Llano Valdez

PABLO J. VALDEZ, 78, a resident of El Llano, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Genara Valdez; grandparents, JuanAntonio Valdez and Altagracia Valdez; brother, Ignacio Valdez; sisters, Norberta Salazar and Trinidad Bustos; father-in-law, Federico Sanchez and mother-in-law, Genoveva Sanchez. Many locals will remember Pablo for selling his produce on the roadside, noticeably in his big red trailer. He had a passion for politics and loved talking politics. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and loyal friend. Mr. Valdez is survived by his wife, Agneda Sanchez-Valdez of El Llano; children, Paul Valdez and wife Barbara of El Guache, Barbara Anderson and husband Donnie of Las Cruces, Rammie Valdez, Chris Valdez and wife Dee Dee and Beverly Archuleta and husband Chris all of El Llano; grandchildren, Margaret Archuleta and husband Jeremias, Paul Valdez and wife D’Ana, JohnPaul Valdez, Chris Valdez and wife Alexandria, Lori Valdez and husband Arthur, Pollyjean Peabody and husband Greg, Annadelle, Nicole, Amor and Unika Valdez and Bridget Archuleta; great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Mia Archuleta, Jolene and Braily Peabody and Sebastian Valdez; sister, Genoveva Archuleta and husband Estevan of El Llano; a few of his many best friends, Arthur Rodarte, Pete Garcia, Ramon Anchondo and numerous other relatives and friends. Memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2011 at the New Creations and Christ Ministry in Espanola. Cremation to take place. Services are pending.
