Orlinda Martinez

Orlinda F. Martinez , 73, a resident of Chimayo passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021.  She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Orlando Martinez; parents, Gregoria and Antonio Martinez; brothers, Louie, Gerson and Gilberto Martinez; sister, Lorraine Martinez; granddaughter, Angel Ramirez; grandsons, Evan and Jaron Martinez; sister in law and close friend, Olga Martinez; nephews, Benjie Martinez and Tomas Moya and niece, Renee Martinez.

Orlinda was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  Her family was important to her and she loved them dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Orlinda is survived by her sons, Johnny (Andrea), Jesse (Elena), Tomas “Dee Dee” (Jolyn) Ramirez; sister, Lucresia Martinez; grandson, raised as her own son, Antonio Ramirez; granddaughter, raised as her own daughter, Antoinette Ramirez; grandchildren, Edward (Sydney), Jared (Rebecca), Javon (Tamara), Andres, Austin, Ambros  (Alisha), Angel Moya and Angel (David); great-grandchildren, Jayvon, Ayraelle, Noah, Evan, Azariah, Earl, Missie, Serenity, James, DeAngelo, DeAndre and Ethan.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish in Chimayo with a burial to follow at the La Puebla Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Edward, Jared, Javon,  Antonio, Antoinette, Andres, Austin , Ambros, Angel Moya, Angel Trujillo. Honorary pallbearers are Jayvon, Ayraelle, Noah, Evan, Earl, Missie, Serenity, James, DeAngelo, DeAndre,  Azariah and Ethan.
