ORLANDO ALMEIDA-RIVERA, 19, a resident of Alcalde, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 4, 2011. He is survived by his parents, Juan and Olga Almeida-Rivera; fiancé, Dulce Arguello; brothers, Omar, Edgar and Jacquelin; sister, Karina Almeida; nephews, Anahy and Juan Omar Almeida; grandparents, Paulita Gil and Socorro and Lucita Rivera; uncles and aunts, Hector, Elfido, Felipe, Eloy, Nena and Gloria Almeida, Reyna, Loreno, Yesenia, Judy Milagros and Jesus Rivera; cousins, Oscar, Eloy, Salvador, Yvay, Vanessa, Julissa, Lety, Paty Erica, Irvin, Jesus, Lupita, Ruby, Abril, Brissa, Oriana, Juriel, Areadme, Ariana, Jesus, Octovio, Karina, Javier, Fernando, Ricardo, Marcos and Sonia. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española. Burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Española. The family of Orlando Almeida-Rivera has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
