Opal - Age 96 - Española - Norris

OPAL I. NORRIS, 96, a resident of Española, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Wayne Norris (Dagwood); parents, Charles and Iva Tuley; sister, Lorene Wright; brother, Guy Tuley; grandson, Mark Romero and son, Ronnie Norris. Mrs. Norris is survived by her children, Randy Norris and wife Betty, Tom Norris and wife Sharon, Nelda Romero and husband Severiano and Don Norris and wife Karen; brother, Ancil Tuley of Louisiana; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. A very special thanks to caregivers, Brenda Salazar and Maria Venezuela. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. also in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial to follow at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Santa Fe with the following serving as pallbearers, Scott Norris, Tracy Norris, Matthew Wade, Devine Gonzales, Aaron Gonzales and Ty Rains. The family of Opal I. Norris has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
