Olivia Age - 77 - La Madera Chavez

Olivia Chavez, 77, a resident of La Madera was called to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 16, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Carlota Chavez; brother, Carlos Chavez, Sr. Ms. Chavez is survived by her sisters: Lisa Montoya of Española and Lupe Chavez of La Madera; brothers: Fidel Rivera, Jr. of La Madera, Paublo and Nicky Chavez of Pueblo, CO, Efren Chavez, Sr. and Sadie Chavez; numerous other loving relatives & friends. The family would like to thank, Española Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation and Ambercare Hospice. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Madera with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Madera with burial to follow at La Madera Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Johnny Cardenas, Justin Montoya, Ivan, Efren Jr. and Michael Chavez and John Martinez Jr.; honorary pallbearers: Bonnie Chavez, Ronald Trujillo, Fabian Montoya and Marie Urquidi. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory for the funeral expenses.
