NORMAN T. GRAY, 73, a resident of Los Alamos, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh; mother, Etta and sisters, Huletta and Mary. He was born in Belen in 1940. He was the son of cattleman Hugh Jennings Gray and Etta Ketner Gray. He lived in the Belen/Los Lunas area his whole life and graduated from Los Lunas High School in 1958. In 1963, he moved to Alamogordo, where he met his wife Sharon Worley. They were married on March 28, 1964. They moved to Los Alamos in 1981 where they raised their children and worked for and retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2005. Norman will be missed by his many friends and relatives who all loved him greatly. Everyone who knew Norman knew that if they had a problem, he was there to help. His easy smile and big heart drew all who knew him into his loving circle. He was husband, dad and papa, but mostly friend to all who knew him. "God, welcome this sweet man into your home, and if you need anything---anything at all---he's the guy to call." Mr. Gray is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Shauna and husband Jon Brotz of Albuquerque; son, Terrell Gray and wife Shelly of Albuquerque; three granddaughters and five grandsons of Albuquerque; sisters, Freeda Galloway and Theresa Bailey of Albuquerque, and Darla McDade of Belen, as well as many nieces and nephews. Public visitation will begin Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Freedom Church located at 3732 Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Burial be held on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Terrell Gray, Jon Brotz, Richard Smith, Joe D'Anna, Roy Padilla and Leroy Aragon. Honorary pallbearers named are, Leonard Maestas, JW Brotz and Bill Myers. Should friends and family desire to send flowers, please send them to Freedom Church. The family of Norman T.
