\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n Nora E. Roybal, age 72, a resident of Fairview, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her son, Farris Wayne Roybal; husband, Farris G. Roybal; father, Ben Armijo and step-daughter, Susan Tortiello. Nora loved to cook and bake for everyone. She especially enjoyed baking her favorite peanut butter cookies. She was a good seamstress and loved to iron. Nora will be dearly missed, as she was like a mother to everyone. Nora is survived by her son, Marvin Armijo, Sr. and wife Lucille of Velarde; mother, Regina Armijo of Velarde; brothers, Valerio Armijo and wife Bella of Albuquerque and Benny Armijo and wife Betty of El Rancho; sisters, Sadie Armijo of Albuquerque, Juanita Armijo and companion Doug Tuggle of White Rock, Maggie Sanchez and husband Mike of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Ashley Roybal and Linda Armijo; grandsons, Christopher Roybal and wife and Marvin Armijo, Jr.; step-daughter, Christine Ghezzi and husband Paul of Dolores, Colorado; a close family member, Shelly Ulibarri; Alvia Garcia of Espanola, who was Nora’s caretaker for 12 years; She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family of Nora E.
