Nora D. - age 86 - Hernandez/Coyote Gurule

Nora D. Gurule, age 86, a resident of Hernandez/Coyote, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Andronico Gurule, father, Pedro; mother, Simona Herrera; brothers, Orlando, Marcelino and Levi Herrera; daughters, Linda, Patsy and Doreen; sons, Raymond Jr. and Jerry; grandchildren, Louie, Nick II, Jolene and Lorrie. Nora was a hard working lady. She loved to work with her garden and flowers. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She worked at the Espanola Hospital for 25yrs as the head cook and moved to Burley, Idaho and worked for a potato factory. Nora is survived by her sons, Bobby Serrano and wife Mayo of Beatty, Nevada, Howard Gurule and companion Valerie Trujillo, Nick Gurule and companion Eunice Nadine Vigil, and Paul Gurule and ex-wife Rosa Gurule of Hernandez; daughter, Evelyn Wilson of Bloomfield, NM; her sons, Porfie Jr. Martinez of Salt Lake City, Utah, Joe Lee and wife Dorthy Martinez of Grand Junction, Colorado, Vitalio Martinez of Seattle, Washington and ex-daughter in law Julie Hernandez of Alcalde, grandson, Johnny West of Hagerman, Idaho; brothers, LeeRoy and wife Lenora of Espanola and Emilio and wife Ambrocia of Coyote; sisters, Rebecca Kasl of Overton, Nevada, Rose Ercilia Edwards of Murray, Utah and Maria Herrera of Espanola. Public visitation will be held at 6:00 and a devotional service to follow on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at The Rock Christian Fellowship in Espanola. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at The Rock Christian Fellowship, with a burial to follow at Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde. Serving as pallbearers will be, Johnny West, Delbert Herrera, Walter Herrera and Levi Herrera Jr. The family of Nora D.
