Nichole L Borrego

Nichole Lynn Borrego, (AKA Nikki), 34 years of Alcalde NM, passed away on January 4,2025.

She was called upon by the lord in her home in Albuquerque NM. Nichole was born on February 9th,1990 in Santa Fe NM to Debra (Debbie) Borrego, Alcalde NM and Floyd Borrego, El Guique NM.

Preceded in death by parents Debra and Floyd Borrego; Maternal Grandmother, Rosebell Gallegos; Paternal Grandparents, Arturo and Arabella Borrego; Padrino, John Allen Gallegos; Paternal Uncles Ralph Borrego and Andrew Borrego; Brother-in-law Sammy L Vigil; Sister-in-law Lori Ann Vigil of Chimayo NM along with many Great Grandparents and Great Aunts, Uncles and Cousin.

Survived by Daughters Samantha Borrego and Olivia Vigil; Son Aaron Dylan Vigil of Chimayo; Sister Eugenia Borrego of Albuquerque NM; Brother Vicente and Renee Borrego of Alcalde, NM; Nephews Alex Sanchez (Alexis) and JD Salazar of Albuquerque NM; Niece Arabella Rose Borrego of Albuquerque NM; Madrina, Florence Gallegos of Alcalde NM; Father of Nicholes Children, Charles Vigil of Chimayo NM; Mother-in-law, Berine Vigil of Chimayo NM; Paternal Uncles, Michael, Raymond, Jacob, Gilbert, and Johnny Borrego, of El Guique NM; Paternal Aunts, MaryAnn, Pauline, Rosebel, and Michelle Borrego of El Guique NM, including many cousins, friends, coworkers and longtime friends. Nichole was a loving Daughter, sister, and mother, whom loved her children greatly. Dedicating herself endlessly to their happiness. She was Certified in Hospitality where she managed a hotel in Albuquerque for over five years and had recently decided to move back home to be with her children. Nichole will be missed dearly by her children and family.

 A rosary will take place at 1:00 pm on January 24, 2025, at the Holy Family Church in Chimayo NM. A mass will take place at 2:00pm at the Holy Family Church with a burial to follow at the Nuestra Senora de Dolores Cemetery.
