NATHAN LUJAN, 36, a resident of Llano, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013 following lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Patrocinio and Emelina Lujan of Llano; maternal grandparents, Ricardo and Barbarita Martinez of Peñasco and Pablo and Emelina Tafoya of Utah; brother, Richard Lujan who passed away 5 months ago; God-parents, Eli and Jacinta Rodarte. Nathan enjoyed four wheeling and working on cars. He had a lot of friends both young and old; he enjoyed talking to people. He loved his family and loved spending time with all of them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mr. Lujan is survived by his wife of 17 years, Julie Lujan; son, Christopher J. Lujan; daughter, Amberlee Bree Lujan; parents, Benito and Helen Lujan; in-laws, Alex and Ruby Black; brothers, Derrick Lujan and wife Pauline and Ben Lujan and wife Joyce; sisters-in-law, Jamie Black and companion Alex Lucio and Geraldine Romero; God-children, Dylann Sanchez and Doreen Rodriguez and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends that loved him very much. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church on Peñasco. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Antonio de Padua Catholic Church on Peñasco. Burial to follow at the Llano de San Juan Cemetery in Llano with the following serving as pallbearers, Fabian Vigil, Mario Madrid (Marty), David Lopez (Red), Leroy Fresquez, Jr. (Froggy), Nelson Rodarte, Jr. (Horse) and Jerry Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers named are, Derrick, Ben, Jamie, Alex, Sofia, Pam, Adam, Jodi, Denny, Belinda, Paul, Ricky, Dylan, Jared, Benny, Rachel, Elaine, Carter and Gerald Gonzales. The family of Nathan Lujan has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
