Nancy Ann Gardner

Nancy Ann Gardner, 82, passed away on December 11, 2024. 

She is survived by her children; Dian Gardner, James Gardner, Lucas Merrick, Amadeo Wilson, and Jazmine Ruiz; siblings Jean Anderson, Randy Walker and Sherman Walker.

She was a mother, foster mother, school master, teacher, fire fighter, EMT, entrepreneur, builder and fixer of houses, although when asked, she would usually say she was a chicken farmer. She achieved many personal and professional goals throughout her life. Through her energy and actions, she has touched the lives of many, helping them to learn and better themselves and their lives. She always gave more than she took.

Her illness was sudden, brought on by an amoeba in her brain. Treatment was not working and was making her sicker, so it was stopped, and she was sent home with hospice. She died peacefully in her sleep.

She will be sorely missed.
