Nakita Leandra Garcia, born October 15, 1987 went to with God in Heaven on January 8, 2013. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Apolonio Paul Garcia, Nora B. Garcia, Victoriano Romero and Elvira M. Romero. She is survived by her husband, Staff Sergeant Anthony G. Garcia; daughter, Allayna K. Garcia; parents: Gerald and Feliz Romero; grandmother, Loretto Garcia; brother, Eric Archuleta and nephew, Eric Jr.; mother-in-law Nancy Garcia; uncles and aunts, Apolonio Garcia and wife Miae, Maria Elena Gurule and husband Eliberto, Flavio Garcia and wife Barbara, Bianca Lucero and husband Anthony, Xavier Garcia and wife Judy, Mauro Garcia and wife Nina, Nicolas Romero and wife Bernie, Mary Lou Romero and husband Rudy Dominguez, Bert Romero and wife Diana, Gloria Martinez and husband Virgil, Jose D. Romero, Victor Romero and wife Virginia, Lucille Chavez and husband Rick, Janet Mancha Garcia and husband Peter, Rudy Romero and wife Jenny; three special women whom she called sisters: Sarah Perez, Jessica Viarreal and Angela Gutierrez; and many other loving relatives and friends. Public Visitation for Nakita Leandra Garcia will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2013 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of De Vargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
