The following was written by Jack Lewis’ father, Reason Alonzo Lewis, he wrote this for one of his sons that passed away years ago, it is fitting that we honor our father with this message from his father;\r\nSleep on dear boy and take your rest, we loved you but Jesus loved you best. In memory of our dear boy oh we miss you our dear boy our hearts are full of pain but where there is no sad times, we hope to meet you again. In memory of our dear boy Jack Lewis, our dear boy, your battle is ended, your work is well done. The angels need you in Glory, to make that your home. In Plymouth grave yard they put you, over the flowers wave, they laid your dear body in the cold silent grave, but we rather you’d be happy in that heavenly home above, than to be down here suffering for you are where all is love. In memory of our dear boy, all is dark within our dwelling, lonely are our hearts today, for the one we loved so dearly has forever passed away. We loved him yes we loved him but the Angels loved him more. They sweetly carried him to younders shining shore. The golden gates were opened an Angels voice said, come and with farewells unspoken he calmly entered home.\r\nA rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory.
