MICHAEL RAMON LUCERO, 56, a resident of Ojo Caliente, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Eduardo Elemin Lucero, mother, Adelina Romero Lucero; brothers, Alex Lucero, Eduardo Lucero, Leonard Lucero and two twin sisters. Michael worked for the J&H supply, CO.  Michael is survived by his sons, Michael Archuleta, David Lucero both of Ojo Caliente; Jenny Lucero Archuleta of Canon Plaza, NM; sisters, Martha and husband Anastacio Ortega of Ojo Caliente, Elsie and husband Thomas Maldonado of Bernalillo, Piedad Lucero of Espanola, Carmen Naranjo of Espanola, Rosellen Sinaloa of Alcalde, Lisa Pena Lucero of Ojo Caliente, Sarah Martinez of Espanola, brother, Jonny Lucero and wife Theresa, Celestino and wife Janet Lucero, and Isidoro Lucero all of Ojo Caliente and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ojo Caliente, with a mass of Christian burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, with the following serving as pallbearers, Johnny, Celestino and Isidoro Lucero, Eric Archuleta, Bert Gonzales, and Jesse R. Lucero. The family is accepting donations to assist with funeral expenses, donations can be made at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory.
