Life: August 15, 1965 – October 8, 2023

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share the loss of our Dear Michael. He will be forever loved, forever missed, and in our hearts forever.

Michael was preceded in death by his son Nikki Valdez and his mother Rosalie Valdez.

He is survived by his brother Leonard Valdez and wife Josephine, sister Marcia Valdez, sister Cynthia Valdez-Salazar and husband Ed, sister Lorraine Cisneros and husband Ramon, father David Valdez and partner Evila Rendon. Michael is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Michael endured much sadness over the last two years with the loss of his son and his mother. Michael believed in the Lord and looked forward to the day he would be reunited with his son and mother again in heaven.

PSALM 46:1 God is our refuge and our strength, An ever-present help in trouble.

A memorial service will be held for Michael at Calvary Church in Arroyo Seco, NM, on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 10:00 am. We invite all who knew our dear Michael and our family to join us in celebrating his life, prayer, and paying your last respects to him and the family. A simple coffee and dessert reception will take place following the memorial at the Calvary Chapel.
